When I had a chance to rebuild I pretty much decided I was going to be really good at one thing on offense and defense and try my best to be okay at the rest.
I decided I was going to run the ball better than anyone so I invested in all three types of backs. I invested in run blocking machines on the line. I didn't forget passing but it was secondary. If you can't help my running game I don't need you on offense no matter how good you are elsewhere.
I did the same with defense. Then I built my playbooks around it.
It worked! My run game was unstoppable last season and it kept me in close games, won enough to make the playoffs and won when it mattered.
lol dont read 2 much into it the superbowl was rigged he wasnt letting me win another 1. obvious.

I was looking at Randy Johnson who I feel has a small, but realistic shot at 300 wins in the next 2 seasons and thinking about the current leaderboards for wins. The game doesn't do this for you on the history page so I compiled the list.
Here are your current, in my opinion, pitchers with realistic shots at 300 wins. I did not consider anyone with under 150 wins by age 30, anyone without 125 wins by age 27 and anyone without 200 wins by age 32.
Here is the list. Bolded name means they made it to 300 wins IRL. I've also added their real life totals below to compare their real version to the sim version. Some of these guys have had the fortune in our sim to have really good offenses around them (Kevin Appier for certain).
