Rangers agree. We prefer well balanced players, Ruben can slug and field but struggles with contact and getting on-base. This is pretty much an even swap and strictly a swap of preferences. Clark gives us a well rounded player who is average at everything. Rivera gives the Reds a top notch fielder, above average power guy but below average contact and on-base guy.

I agree. I could be wrong here. I figured I'd try something else. My pitching is so bad, I figured if I got some better fielding up the middle maybe it would protect them some what. We will see.
