Is it frowned upon by the league to start different quarterbacks at the end of the season? I do not plan to resign Jeff George, he wants too much, hasn't been effective (been good this year but his career is meh) and I plan to draft a QB in one of the upcoming drafts.

So, I started Doug Pederson last draft to see what he was like and if I wanted to keep him around as a backup. He's a worthy backup. Now i want to try out Danny Weurfell this last sim. See if he is worth investing in.

Is this something the league doesn't mind, trying different players at the end of the year? I am keeping all other starters in but trying different quarterbacks to see if any of them are worth keeping on my roster next season.

Buddy, I don't think there is anything wrong with it or that anyone cares really. As long as you aren't sitting all your starters, it's kind of no big deal. If you aren't re-signing Jeff George then there is no reason to play him really if you want to checkout the other guys on your team. If you start sitting Barry Sanders though expect some questions. Your 3 quarterbacks are probably all going to produce the same.

I've considered giving Dan McGwire a look myself since he was effective in his lone start for me. 3 td, 1 in and 251 yards. Rob Johnson has sucked for two seasons. It's obvious 'ratings' don't matter otherwise how do you explain Tardbach plugging in anyone with any rating and they destroy us. Who knows maybe Dan McGwire is my system's qb and maybe Danny Weufel is yours. They probably arent but who knows until you try them. If Glenn Foley can throw 5 TDs in a superbowl then you can't rule out any QB in this league.

I agree 100%. I've been unable to figure out this game at all. Joe Montana was my best rated QB but my 2nd best performing QB. Then Jake Plummer is rated better than the trash that I had before him but has played worse than Mike Tomczak. I have the same issue with running backs and everything else.

I thought Plummer may have had a rough rookie season because I had no receivers. I added 3 90+ WR's this offseason (Randy Moss!!!!!!!!!!, Curtis Conway and Johnnie Morton) and I have an 88 overall WR in 4-wide sets (Michael Haynes). Bum ass probably has the best weapons in the whole f'n league.

MF ain't even going to crack 3,000 yards or an 80 QBR. I may as well bring Tom Waddle back and buy defense.

Start whoever you want. It doesn't seem to matter.

Let's not forget Reggie Cobb rated 88 overall and can't even break 500 yards rushing. Then like Dan said, you have Houston plugging in bum after bum and just cooking us all. At some point some experimenting has to be done to figure out the system. Obviously common sense isn't working.

Your dominance is either sheer luck or you've learned every play in the game that is unstoppable and run only those. This game needs a scouting option that doesn't suck and actually shows what the other team ran in previous games. Would help a buttload in gameplanning.

u shoud be 4 wide every play running with cobb between the 4 and 5 holes. u also dont utilize muster at all and he is a perfect fb dive guy. u have crazy ability to create constant mismatches esp in ur division that is weak at cb. detroid doesnt have 1 corner that can guard any of your 4 wr. same with minnesota and green bay. dude, u could run that division with that roster. id put so much pressure on them fuckers with them wrs and their lack of dbs theyd be crying. u have the best roster in that division lol. green bay looks like a 4 year old built the team. minnesota has an okay roster but he uses it like an imbecile. detroit wins by default because he actually has a decent offensive setup but his defense is straight garbage. u should be scoring 50 on him you have a better passing offense than me if u'd use it right. and in that division that has shitty corners across the baord you should have 3 1,000 yard receivers like ive had a few times.

i also habe mulptipe playbooks and depth charts. some of my playcalling is situational. i move players around for different downs and distances. i put a lot of work into this and dont explit anything. i just draft and sign players that are good at things i need and put them where i need them and run plays to their strengths. what u al should be doing insteand of crying.
