Let's discuss this sim

In many ways this simulator is bad but in some ways it is good. It infuriates me when I put my run percentages through the roof and I still pass the ball 75% of the time. I'm running the ball more than I have in previous years but my split against the Jaguars for instance was 54 passes to 21 runs (15 for Ricky Williams) with a nearly 75% run setting on most downs. I understand football happens and sometimes you gotta abandon the run but when I look at the game log it does it the first series even. So, I am not sure that is the explanation.

But in some ways it feels like real football. Case in point, Jake Plummer. Total garbage so far since I drafted him. Contract year, guy is playing incredible. Now I go from maybe letting him go to a must re-sign I believe. Only for him to go back to sucking I'm sure. Just like the real players, career year their free agency year.

I read some where that if you set it to even 100 pass on the setting then it's a 70/30 split. However what do I know I continuously suck! However, I did read that on a forum once trying to figure out the play calling.

Marbach, (and service warning for everyone else), this is your first and last warning. Do not post anything racist, hate speech or anything that could be construed as illegal or harmful toward anyone underage.

Basically, nothing that will get this forum suspended for TOS violations. Keep it about baseball and keep insults, if you all insist on hurling them, about basic stuff -- yo momma, you dumb, etc... -- further violations will be dealt with with penalties up to and including removal from the league.
