This guy really wanted Faulk and so did I. But I can't pass up 3 1sts and 2 seconds plus a decent young rb for him. This is the type of trade that builds franchises like the Cowboys trading Hershel Walker or the Rickey Williams trade.

I'll just draft Curtis Martin later and add 4 other studs to the mix. Booya.

We have went back and forth on this trade since before the draft. Finally completed. Like I told the Ravens gm, I feel like I have wasted Elways career and I need to win now. I know this trade mortgages my future but if I win just one superbowl with a Elway and Faulk tandem, I will be fine with having a serious uphill rebuilding process starting in about 1997/1998.
