Griffey Jr. Goes Deep Twice in 10-1 Mariners Win
Spirited fans greeted the Tampa Bay Devil Rays for their clash with the Seattle Mariners.

With Ken Griffey Jr. leading the charge, the Seattle Mariners defeated the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, 10-1. Griffey Jr. went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Mariners. With this game in the books, Seattle is 76-68, Tampa Bay 55-90.

In the top of the second inning, third baseman Juan Uribe had a 2-run triple for Seattle. It was his 3rd triple of the season and put the Mariners on top, 2-0.
