Texas Loses, 3-0, to Seattle in 10
|
Spirited fans greeted the Texas Rangers for their clash with the Seattle Mariners.
Seattle Mariners starter David Wells pitched his team past the Texas Rangers in 10 innings, 3-0. Seattle currently is in first place in the AL West Division at 86-73.
Though he did not get the decision, Wells did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 8 innings, until Seattle eventually rallied past the Rangers.
"David is a tough competitor," said Seattle manager Pat Tackett.
