Rockies Take Tight Tilt
The Colorado Rockies claimed a close win over the Houston Astros, due in large part to Kevin Millwood. The Colorado right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 1-0 win. Millwood got the win, improving to 13-4. He gave up 7 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. He allowed no runs. The Rockies, at 46-58, sit in 4th place in the NL West Division.

Colorado took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, John Jaha hit a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Rockies.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Houston manager Jason Marbach.
