Rockies Win, 9-8, in Extra Frames
The Colorado Rockies downed the Milwaukee Brewers, 9-8, in 11 innings. Todd Helton led the way, going 4-for-6 for Colorado. The Rockies improved their record to 50-67 by beating Milwaukee.

Colorado used a timely hit from Gary DiSarcina to get the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Rockies ahead, 9-8. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

DiSarcina told the Colorado Gazette: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
