The Los Angeles Dodgers picked up a win at Dodger Stadium, taking down the Florida Marlins, 4-3. Starting pitcher Darren Oliver was a big reason why. Los Angeles has run its win streak to 5 consecutive.

Los Angeles took a 4-3 lead on Jeff Kent's 33rd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Kent hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Florida pitcher Erik Hanson visibly frustrated.

"Darren throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Los Angeles manager Dan Gallows.
