Tidewater Starting Pitcher King Will Retire

Baseball News Network is reporting that Eric King will be retiring at season's end.
The 38-year-old Tidewater Tides starting pitcher could not be reached for comment, but BNN said the organization has confirmed the player's intentions.
Thus far in his career, King has put up a won-loss record of 62-94. Lifetime he has an ERA of 4.98, struck out 706 batters and held opposing teams to a .273 batting average.
