What started as a trade for Drabek became a monster. The reality is I cannot afford Alou and Drabek and it is time to retool. This trade gets me cheaper and builds for the future. It allows Seattle to maybe win it all now with the addition of Alou and Drabek two all-stars. I get my 1B, C, SP and OF of the future in this trade and Seattle gets some help now and help in the future with Marlon Anderson and Jose Acevedo. First time I've felt really good about a trade where I dealt away studs.
