Johnson K's 11 En Route to 4-1 Yankees Win
The New York Yankees got great pitching from five-time All-Star Randy Johnson, allowing them to bump off the Boston Red Sox, 4-1. Antonio Osuna sewed up the save, his 30th. New York is 99-43 and Boston, with the loss, 54-89.

Johnson was in the zone all game. He frustrated Boston hitters while giving the Yankees 8.2 innings of quality work. Johnson threw 105 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 11 punchouts.

"Randy approached every single pitch he made with total conviction," said New York manager Sebastian Clause.
