Phillies Take Tight Tilt
In a low-scoring tilt between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Houston Astros, former first round draft pick Joey Hamilton was the difference-maker. The Philadelphia right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Hamilton, now 11-11, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing 1 run.
