With Late Score, White Sox Beat Twins
The Chicago White Sox topped the Minnesota Twins by a score of 2-1 in 12 innings. Leading the way was right fielder Rod Brewer. Brewer went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk for the White Sox. Dave Coggin snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 2.2 innings. He's now 2-2 on the season. The victory makes Chicago 51-104.

Brewer had a game-changing home run in the top of the 12th. On a 1-1 fastball from Eddie Guardado, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the White Sox a 2-1 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Brewer.

"We were determined to pick up this win," said Brewer.
